Mounting tips
CONSIDER THIS
Ceiling Type
A cathedral style ceiling may require the use of a special bracket that can be attached to an
angled structural support. A suspended tile ceiling usually requires replacing a tile
with a rigid mounting plate. Boom arm installations may also be considered.
Locate Position
Projector manufacturers produce "throw charts" that list image sizes based on distances
from the screen. Consult this chart before deciding where to install the projector in the
room.
Security Features
A clamp device shrouds the projector on both sides to keep it from being removed from
the mount, which is secured by a set of security screws that require the use of a special
Allen wrench to remove the screws. A security cable attaches to the side of the projector
as well as to the ceiling mount. Examples such as the N-Circle provide this type of high
security.
Ventilation
Allow at least a 3-foot radius around the projector for ventilation.
